Privacy policy

Subsense is a partnership of MartinJenkins and DataSing, delivering an AI-enabled submissions analysis and reporting platform to New Zealand public sector and regulated organisations. This policy describes how we collect, use, store and protect information you provide through the marketing website at subsense.co.nz. It applies to this website only — the Subsense product platform itself is governed by separate engagement-level privacy and data-handling agreements with each client organisation.

This policy complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

We only collect information that visitors voluntarily submit via the contact form on this website:

• Full name
• Email address
• Organisation
• Role or team (optional)
• Selected interest topics (e.g. live or upcoming legislative consultation, internal or policy consultation, training and capability uplift, general product walkthrough)

We do not run analytics, tracking pixels, advertising tags or third-party scripts on this site. The only browser-side data we send to a server is the contact-form submission you explicitly send by clicking the submit button.

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry about Subsense. We do not use your details for marketing without your explicit consent, and we do not sell, rent, trade or share your details with third parties for their own purposes.

Contact-form submissions are delivered to contact@subsense.co.nz via Resend, a third-party transactional email service. Data may transit through and be temporarily stored on Resend’s infrastructure (currently US-based) before delivery to our mailbox.

Note: this is distinct from the Subsense product platform. The product platform itself is hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in New Zealand and Australia, aligned with the New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) and Protective Security Requirements (PSR). Engagement-level data sovereignty is established with each client at contracting.

We retain contact-form submissions for up to 24 months from the date of last contact, after which we delete them unless you have asked us to keep them in connection with an active engagement. You can request deletion at any time (see Your rights below).

This website does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or any third-party scripts. We do not collect or share any information about your browsing behaviour. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts (Poppins) which is a static asset request and not used for tracking.

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Withdraw consent for any future use of your information.

To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@subsense.co.nz. We will respond within 20 working days.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes — for example, if we add analytics or a new third-party processor — will be highlighted on this page for at least 30 days from the change.
